When someone you love becomes a memory, the memory becomes a treasure. 1 Corinthians 13:7

We are deeply saddened to announce the loss of our beloved Bob who passed away on October 18, 2015. As we continue his legacy we are forever changed by the sadness we feel. We love and miss our father, grandfather, and great-grandfather, he will always be in our hearts.

On March 1, 2014, we had an enormous fire that destroyed our large barn, the smaller barn next to it, and countless other things that can never be replaced. No lives were lost, which we are forever thankful for. We are very grateful to the Pembroke Fire Department who did everything they could but all was lost.

On Memorial Day, May 26, 2014, our family suffered another loss; Joyce, who had been ill for several years, passed away. We miss her every day but it helps knowing she is in a better place with Lucky and all her beloved cats.

I think Alice Morse Earle says it best “The clock is running. Make the most of today. Time waits for no man. Yesterday is history. Tomorrow is a mystery. Today is a gift. That’s why it is called the present.”
